Five Great Minds returns to Manchester

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event bringing CIM’s Five Great Minds out of London and up to Manchester, they have today announced it will be returning this April.

Bringing together leading executives, academics and authors to share their knowledge with CIM’s most experienced and senior members, it is an opportunity to listen to and question experts at the forefront of their field, a value-for-time way to maintain professional knowledge.

The day will once again be chaired by Dawn Holmes FCIM, CIM Trustee and Director at Insight Magicians.  Dawn said, “We are pleased to be able to bring this winning formula back to Manchester and allow access to the Levitt Group activities for our members in the North.”

The speakers are:

Ed Cox, Director at IPPR North, who will discuss The Northern Powerhouse – is it a political slogan or programme for change?

Reza Salehnejad, Lecturer in Economics at Manchester Business School, who will look at how to gain Competitive Advantage from AI.

Paul Skinner, founder of Agency of the Future and CIM’s Northern Marketer of the Year in 2014, who will introduce his book Collaborative Advantage, which comes out in June.

Louise Marshall, Infrastructure and Shared Services Director at Brother UK Ltd, who will share how their Community Engagement fits within a sustainable and responsible business strategy.

Marnie Millard, Group Chief Executive for Nichols Plc, who will talk about the transition from being a marketer to a general management role on a global stage.

The event, titled “Five Great Minds’, is sponsored by The Candidate and is open to CIM Chartered Marketers and Fellows and Levitt Group members.  Guests of Levitt Group members are also welcome.
